I felt some of the staff was on a big power trip. We were often treated like children. And there were definitely favorites. But the psychiatrist was great and one of the doctors there told me he never says this but he thoughts I would make it. He was right been clean for quite a few years now. I still remember that and it really helped me. My counselor on the other hand wouldn’t listen to me. She was so concerned that there would be alcohol in my house when I got out. I said it’s not a problem I don’t drink ever. Can’t because of my psych drugs. She said well if you can’t get my drug of choice my brain will pick something else. I couldn’t get her to understand if I’m going to do drugs I’ll get the ones I like. She called my husband like I’m a child I was in my 30s by the way to explain alcohol couldn’t be in the house. Luckily he just agreed. Years later still haven’t had a drink. I was respectful to her and she just looked down on me like she knew everything. Every addict is different. When I left didn’t go to NA even though they hounded me still clean. I’m glad that works for some people. I’m not one of them. I found it was damaging to my recovery. I don’t want to listen or talk about how horrible we all were on drugs. I’m not saying my way is the right way I’m saying it worked for me. I got clean and that’s the most important thing but I did that not Bradford. There’s a lot of drama. People smuggled in drugs. And like I say a lot of the staff look down on you which I found funny since they’re addicts. Look for the ones who actually care. Try to stay out of everyone’s drama. Oh if you try to leave early they’ll tell you your insurance company won’t pay. This was a lie and I don’t appreciate being lied to. I have several mentally illnesses and wanted to go home a few days early and they told me insurance wouldn’t pay if I left. They’re right the won’t pay for the days your not there but to put me through mental help for money shows me money first patient second. I also disagreed with the fact we weren’t allowed to have books to read. We could only have the AA BOOK. Sometimes you need a break. It’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. And thanks to a few good staff members and my hard work. I succeeded. Know that people you are there with will relapse and some will die. I know several who didn’t make it. My suggestion don’t keep in contact with people they can bring you down. And Bradford does try don’t start a relationship with anyone. I’ve heard other places are worse and I should consider myself lucky and I do. It should be horrible so you never want to go back. But know they are very much in the old school way of recovery. Meeting stories group time. And AA or NA after your release if that works for you great do what you need to do to stay clean. But there way isn’t the only way. I know many who did rehab and no meetings and they were successful. Find a program that works for you. And if your a women like myself. It is absolute hell living in a cabin with different aged women. Seriously on girl I could stand her made up stuff but of course the counselors loved her and had her run the meetings. Several of us complained they didn’t care. Luckily it was my time to go. But your opinion will never be taking into consideration.

Federal Poverty Guidelines for 2023

This table is to be used if this rehab center accepts sliding scale treatment. This will show you what levels of income you need to make to qualify for free treatment.
Persons In Family Household   Poverty Guideline salary per year
1 $14,580
2 $19,720
3 $24,860
4 $30,000
5 $35,140
6 $40,280
7 $45,420
8 $50,560

For Households with more than 8 persons, add $4,480 for each additional person.

*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get legal aid from some offices, they use a sliding fee scale. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
