To provide a safe and healthy environment for the alcoholic / addict and their families to find recovery. They are located in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado. They are a 15-year-old grassroots organization run and overseen by recovering alcoholics and addicts. They are a licensed by the State of Colorado Division of Behavioral Health to provide Substance Use Disorder Treatment. At ARP they believe that recovery is a process, not an event, and one that is better taken by a guide. They are focused on the holistic (spirit, mind, body) treatment of addiction. They treat the disease of addiction on an individual basis as the symptoms of the disease can differ from person to person. It is their goal to tailor a unique recovery experience that matches the needs of each client that enters their program. They are based on the 12-step philosophy, and they believe that sobriety can't be kept unless you give it away. Clients will be able to share their story with newcomers as they continue on their own path and recovery unfolds beneath their very eyes. Clients are involved in weekly individual and group sessions
