About Christ House Drug and Alcohol Treatment

Christ House Drug and Alcohol TreatmentPatients at Christ House struggling with substance abuse are given the opportunity to participate in their New Day Treatment Program. This 12-week, intensive, in-house recovery program was initiated in 2000 and is led by their Certified Addictions Counselor (Level II). When medically appropriate, patients may be referred for outside long-term substance abuse treatment. Members of their Kairos Program meet weekly with their addictions staff. Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are held four times each week here at Christ House and are open to the community. The mission of Christ House is to provide comprehensive health care to sick, homeless men and women from the District of Columbia, and to assist them in addressing critical issues to help break the cycle of homelessness.

*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get legal aid from some offices, they use a sliding fee scale. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
