Residential Services
These are licensed, structured rehabilitation-oriented group facilities, which have 24-hour, seven days per week supervision. Residential facilities are for persons who have significant deficits in independent living skills and need extensive support and supervision. Residential services provide a range of assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and ancillary services with an emphasis on rehabilitation. Aftercare Services
Aftercare services are provided to individuals who have completed treatment in a licensable service component, but who have not completed the episode of care and have not been discharged from the Agency. Treatment would include counseling and support services to maintain recovery. Intervention Services
Intervention services focus on reducing risk factors generally associated with the progression of substance abuse. Intervention is accomplished through identifying early at risk persons, performing basic individual assessments, and providing supportive services that emphasize short-term counseling and referral. These services are targeted toward individuals and families. Prevention/Intervention Services
Prevention/ Intervention services include school-based day services for children and adolescents for four or more consecutive hours per day. Services are individualized and may be provided in a self-contained classroom, a regular classroom, or as a component of a full service school. Prevention/ Intervention services include Alpha and Beta targeted prevention programs serving students in grades 4-6 and 6-8, respectively, who are identified as at risk for alcohol or other drug abuse. They consist of multiple, structured contacts over time to specific individuals or groups identified as having behavioral, biological or environmental at-risk characteristics. These programs are designed to promote skills building and reduce the risk of establishing patterns of use. Services are provided through community provider agencies in partnership with the Hillsborough County School Board. Counselors provide individual, group and family counseling and school personnel implement an intensive education program. Prevention/Intervention services may also include children, adolescents, and adults who are at risk of substance abuse problems and receive targeted prevention services in non-school based programs or through the Florida Youth Initiative Program. *Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get legal aid from some offices, they use a sliding fee scale. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
