About River Oaks Treatment Center

A psychiatric residential treatment center which provides an educational and therapeutic environment.
Offers community living which enables each student to maximize emotional, social, academic and vocational potential.
Small class sizes and individualized services offer each patient the opportunity to progress at their own pace.
Deaf program available.
Oppositional behavior Depression Family conflicts Substance abuse Promiscuity Rage/anger Pregnant girls with mental health problems Self destructive behaviors Eating Disorders Trauma Chronic anxiety School phobias Sexual abuse Deaf children & adolescents with behavioral problems Tampa Bay Academy provides psychiatric residential services for children and adolescents ages 4-18, and therapeutic group home services for adolescents ages 11-18.
They also offer secondary substance abuse services for those residents who are dually diagnosed or have experimented with drugs and/or alcohol.
They have a Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) Accredited Special Needs Charter School on campus to provide Educational services for their children while they are in treatment.
They offer all of the above services in The Deaf Program at Tampa Bay Academy for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing children in the same age groups who have emotional and behavioral issues. Approximately two-thirds of the Clinical, Education and Milieu staff in The Deaf Program are culturally Deaf, and the remainder of the staff are Hearing fluent users of American Sign Language.
They offer Video Relay Services for family sessions when parents or guardians cannot be present.
Children in the Deaf Program also have opportunities throughout their stay to interact with the Hearing children on campus to promote positive peer interactions which will aid in a successful transition when they leave their program.

Mission Statement: Our mission is to provide compassionate, comprehensive and quality recovery experience for adults who are battling substance addiction and co occuring mental health disorder.

For Households with more than 8 persons, add $4,480 for each additional person.

These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get legal aid from some offices, they use a sliding fee scale. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
