Residents
  • Hope House targets low-income and homeless women (18 and older) who have mental health disorders, including substance use disorders.
  • These women may bring their minor children into treatment with them. Nearly 100% of these women have suffered some trauma or abuse.

Staff

  • The staff at Hope House comprises mental health professionals, administrative and contract workers.

What:

  • Hope House provides residential and outpatient treatment programs and a long-term supportive housing facility for women.
  • There are 42 separate apartments available.
  • The housing facility is known as The Highlands West.

Where:

  • The Highlands West and Hope House offices are disclosed on an as-needed basis to maintain confidentiality.

When:

  • Hope House operates a 24-hour-a-day -7 days a week campus.
  • Administrative staff is available from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

While services (counseling, transportation, etc.) are  provided at no cost to participants and clients, individuals that participate in Hope Houses residential and/or intensive outpatient program(s) will have to pay up to 30% of their income (from employment, social security income, etc.)  to cover rental expenses while living on campus.

Clients are also responsible for the cost of their medications and to use the laundry facilities on site.

Federal Poverty Guidelines for 2023

This table is to be used if this rehab center accepts sliding scale treatment. This will show you what levels of income you need to make to qualify for free treatment.

For Households with more than 8 persons, add $4,480 for each additional person.

*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get legal aid from some offices, they use a sliding fee scale. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
