About The Extension - Addiction Recovery Services

Residential recovery program for men only who are homeless or indigent, an addict and a resident of Cobb County.
Those with serious mental illness or physical disability are not eligible.
There are 2 phases - Phase I where everyone enters and probation lasts 4 weeks.
There are 9 weeks of rehabilitation counseling(2 nights/wk.) 5 NA or AA meetings a week required Everyone lives in dormitory type setting and must follow their treatment plan, which involves counseling and related services for the duration of their participation in the program.
Graduates of Phase I can apply to enter Phase II and will move into an independent living setting

Mission Statement: Our mission is to provide evidence based group counseling, family education and medication management for people with addiction and mental health symptoms.

Federal Poverty Guidelines for 2023

This table is to be used if this rehab center accepts sliding scale treatment. This will show you what levels of income you need to make to qualify for free treatment.

For Households with more than 8 persons, add $4,480 for each additional person.

*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get legal aid from some offices, they use a sliding fee scale. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
