About Bridge Over Troubled Waters

Bridge Over Troubled Waters is Boston's foremost organization dedicated to transforming the lives of runaway, homeless, and high-risk youth through safe, supportive, and encouraging relationships and effective services guiding youth towards self-sufficiency.
Bridges licensed clinical counselors are trained and experienced in working specifically with homeless youth and utilize a variety of counseling methods tailored to each youth including trauma informed and positive youth development approaches.
Counselors "meet youth where they are at" during their initial intake and set up appointments for follow up counseling sessions or provide referrals to Bridges in-house services or to outside agencies.


Mission Statement: Bridge's mission is to see the lives of runaway, homeless and high risk youth transformed through caring, supportive and encouraging relationships.

Federal Poverty Guidelines for 2023

This table is to be used if this rehab center accepts sliding scale treatment. This will show you what levels of income you need to make to qualify for free treatment.

For Households with more than 8 persons, add $4,480 for each additional person.

*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get legal aid from some offices, they use a sliding fee scale. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
