About Elmhurst Home

The Elmhurst Home and Naomi's Nest Residential Program is designed to serve males and females, at separate facilities, with drug, alcohol and dual diagnosis-related issues.

Treatment is provided in a safe, supportive home-like environment where residents can begin to learn the new skills necessary for achieving long lasting recovery and begin to deal with any secondary psychological issues.

The intensive, structured program is filled with daily activities that help the resident to recognize their own denial systems, come to terms with their problems, and begin to make the positive choices that will lead them to a healthy and productive life.

Elmhurst home provides both short term (14-30 days) and long term (90) days residential substance abuse treatment for men over the age of 18.

Men and women receive treatment in separate facilities. Elmhurst Home is their Men's Facility. Naomi's Nest is their Women's Facility.

Persons In Family Household   Poverty Guideline salary per year
1 $14,580
2 $19,720
3 $24,860
4 $30,000
5 $35,140
6 $40,280

8 $50,560

For Households with more than 8 persons, add $4,480 for each additional person.

*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get legal aid from some offices, they use a sliding fee scale. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
