About Boys and Girls Club

The clubs and programs offered include :
POWER HOUR: provides tutoring, reading and academic support by volunteer tutors, ages 6-12,
PROJECT LEARN: educational enhancement program which engage youth in academically beneficial activities, discussions, helping others, homework help, and tutoring games such as scrabble, and chess that develop youth cognitive skills, ages 12-18,
CAREER EXPLORE CLUB: introduces young people to a wide range on career opportunities, ages 13-15,
KEYSTONE CLUB: leadership and service club, ages 14-18,
SMART GIRLS: a health, fitness, prevention/education and self-esteem enhancement program to encourage healthy attitudes and life styles, ages 10-15,
SMART MOVE SKILLS AND RESISTANCE TRAINING: helps youth resist alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use, as well as premature sexual activity, ages 6-12 and 13-16,
STREET SMART: counteracts the negative lures of gangs, violence and "street" influences on young adolescent, ages 11-13,
SPORTS AND RECREATION OPPORTUNITIES: boys and girls basketball and other organized sports and activities,
SMART MOVES FOR PARENTS AND OTHER ADULTS: this group will provide an opportunity to discuss and provide feedback for the purpose of building positive relationships.
AFTER SCHOOL "ART PACK" CLASSES: for youth ages 6-18, 4:30pm-6pm. Summer camp offered during the Summer months.

Federal Poverty Guidelines for 2023

This table is to be used if this rehab center accepts sliding scale treatment. This will show you what levels of income you need to make to qualify for free treatment.

For Households with more than 8 persons, add $4,480 for each additional person.

*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get legal aid from some offices, they use a sliding fee scale. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
