Programming consists of individual counseling, group therapy, family sessions, lectures and discussion groups. They view chemical dependency as a disease and blend Motivational Enhancement, Seeking Safety, Seven Challenges, Stages of Change, Cognitive Behavioral, and Acupuncture as their primary therapy models of choice. Treatment plans are individualized to fit the specific needs of the client. Length of stay is contingent upon the client's progress in treatment and highly individualized based on their specific needs. Significant focus and effort is put forth to identify special needs of their clients and refer them to the appropriate sources. Sojourner offers a comprehensive continuum of care, which includes:
